With experience directing diagnostic imaging departments in both cardiology and radiology within high-volume, trauma 1 hospitals, I excel in overseeing clinical teams, maintaining the highest standards of patient care, and managing accreditation processes. I’ve led the integration of PACS systems (GE, FujiFilm, Siemens) with major EHR platforms like Epic, ECW, and Practice Fusion, improving data flow and clinical efficiency while managing the implementation of DICOM protocols, HL7 interfaces, and structured reporting (SR) data standards to optimize diagnostic imaging workflows. A notable achievement includes my role in the second-ever installation of Epic’s Cupid module, where I customized and configured the system to meet the specific needs of complex cardiology departments, facilitating smooth adoption and enhancing user satisfaction. Additionally, as an early adopter of AI technology in medical imaging, I worked on AI mapping initiatives with Butterfly Network and tested advanced features with Caption/GE Healthcare, focusing on enhancing imaging accuracy and automating diagnostic processes to improve patient outcomes.
